She currently works in the Office of Student Life & Leadership Development at CCNY, is the president of Key Club, an on-campus club dedicated to community service initiatives, and is a part-time lifeguard.

Anya Doorga is a political science major with the dream of becoming a judge or the first female Congress member of East Indian descent. Anya was a first place winner in the 2008 Moot Court Competition hosted by CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Anya serves as the Arts/Entertainment Editor for "The Campus" (CCNY) newspaper.
