     Sociological Thinking 3 CR.
     Analyzing Evidence 1 3 CR.
     Analyzing Evidence 2 3 CR.
     Development of Sociological Theory 3 CR.
     Qualitative Methods 3 CR.
     Capstone Seminar 6 CR

Elective Courses
Four elective graduate courses are required, which may be taken at CCNY or another appropriate CUNY master's program. (12 CR.)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Comprehensive Examination: Candidates must pass a written comprehensive examination on sociological methods and theory.

Optional Thesis: Qualified students who are interested in doing original research may request to write a master's thesis instead of a capstone paper.
